Management of the Information and Consultancy Centre of ICEX - Spain Exports & Investments

This contract supports the management of the Information and Consultancy Centre of ICEX – Spain Exports & Investments, a national reference platform that offers specialised trade and investment advisory services to Spanish companies, business associations and other stakeholders engaged in internationalisation.

The Centre operates as a “one-stop shop” for market information, export guidance and investor support. It is managed by a dedicated team of trade consultants, telemarketing agents and support staff, and provides services not only for ICEX, but also in coordination with institutions such as:

• The network of Spanish Commercial Offices abroad
• COFIDES (Development Finance Institution)
• CESCE (Credit Insurance Agency)
• ICO (Official Credit Institute)

Main areas of service include:

• Trade information and consultancy: guidance on tariffs, non-tariff barriers, certificates of origin, trade standards and market intelligence
• Support for enterprise cooperation abroad and attraction of foreign investment
• Advisory on financial operations: payment methods, export financing, logistics
• Development of new services to respond to emerging exporters’ needs
• Support to the ICEX International Scholarship Programme, including training for young professionals
• Institutional coordination with Spanish and international trade actors
• Management of the ICEX portal and direct interaction with the global commercial network

With a multidisciplinary team and direct links to over 100 commercial offices worldwide, the Centre is a key tool for strengthening Spain’s global trade capacity, improving access to tailored information and boosting the competitiveness of SMEs in international markets.
