Logistic Consulting Services to the Saudi Authority for Industrial Cities and Technology Zones (MODON)
This consultancy project supported the Saudi Authority for Industrial Cities and Technology Zones (MODON) in developing and implementing a comprehensive National Logistics Strategy across its 36 industrial cities. The initiative aligned with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030, which aims to position the Kingdom as a global logistics hub.
The consultancy team provided strategic, technical and operational support to modernise MODON’s logistics framework and attract investment in infrastructure and services.
Key areas of intervention included:
- Design and development of MODON’s National Logistics Strategy, aligned with national-level transportation and logistics plans
- Creation of a Logistics Master Plan, including infrastructure design, smart logistics networks, and project pipelines
- Definition of an organisational logistics operating model and a comprehensive capability-building programme
- Development of an investment strategy and promotion tools to attract public and private investors, including leading the Request for Proposals (RFP) process
- Delivery of market intelligence studies, technical research, and recommendations
- Elaboration of a human capital development plan and a logistics action plan
The project also supported MODON in defining key logistics performance indicators and integrating its efforts with other national strategies.
