Exploitation of Waste Products of Banana Tree

The project is focused on the creation of new productive industries using surplus and contaminant waste products of the banana industry. Such new industries will generate economic activity in banana producing areas, supporting economic development and creating alternative job opportunities based on a clean and environmentally non-aggressive technology.

The used waste products, pseudo stems of banana tree and rejected fruit, are used to produce paper paste and a feed component for cattle.
