Communication and Visibility Activities of EU Cooperation Activities in the Philippines
The project “Communication and Visibility Activities on EU Cooperation in the Philippines” was designed to improve how the EU’s assistance is communicated to the Filipino public. By focusing on key sectors—health, justice and sustainable energy—it aimed to make EU-funded initiatives more visible and relatable.
The project team developed and implemented communication and visibility strategies for three major bilateral programmes:
- The Philippines Health Sector Reform Programme
- The Justice Sector Reform Programme
- The Access to Sustainable Energy Programme
Each strategy was tailored to its sector, combining content creation, event support, storytelling and media outreach. The aim was not just to inform, but to inspire recognition of the EU as a long-term, reliable partner in national development. Special attention was paid to geographically isolated and disadvantaged areas.
Core services delivered:
- Strategic visibility plans for the three flagship programmes
- Social and traditional media content showcasing EU support
- Public engagement through events, storytelling and field coverage
- Creative materials that humanized reform initiatives
- Technical and logistical support to the EU Delegation’s communication work
By transforming complex reforms into human stories, the project reinforced the EU’s image as a visible, reliable and engaged partner in the Philippines’ development journey.
