• Reviewed existing business information networks operating in the EU and developed by donors elsewhere.
• Identified Egyptian business information needs.
• Assessed the prevailing situation in Egypt vis-à-vis business information sources and providers including European Information Correspondence Centre located in Cairo.
• Developed two scenarios for a proposed National Business Information Service based on best practices but adapted to take account of the Egyptian business environment.
