Assistance to the Foreign Trade Department and the Jamaica Trade and Adjustment Team

The ACP and the EU prepare negotiations for Economic Partnership Agreements (EPAs) to progressively remove barriers to trade and to create a favourable environment for economic growth and investment in the countries of the ACP and the EU.

In order to strengthen Jamaica's preparatory process, the decision was taken to establish a Working Group on Trade Policy, which will assist in laying the groundwork for the execution of activities of the Working Groups, in particular to the Technical Working Group on Market Access.
