Call for Experts: NEPAL
Equinoccio is looking for a highly qualified business consultant for an exciting project in Nepal.
The Nepal in Business (NIB) program aims to boost economic growth, promote economic diversification and reduce poverty through private sector development in Nepal.
The selected consultants will be possibly responsible for leading and implementing two key components of the program:
- the Business Support Facility (BSF) and
- the Business Environment Reform Facility (BERF).
Requirements:
- Demonstrated experience in designing and implementing private sector development programs, preferably in environments similar to Nepal.
- In-depth knowledge of business challenges and opportunities in Nepal, with a focus on priority sectors: food processing, renewable energy, information and communication technologies, light manufacturing, and tourism.
- Ability to work collaboratively with government partners, industry associations and civil society organizations to identify and address policy and regulatory bottlenecks.
- Experience in managing results-based grants and technical assistance to improve organizational capabilities and competitiveness of SMEs.
