Training Programme for Service Providers in Burkina Faso

The rationale of this project is that in order to offer a competent level of assistance to SMEs in their community, local service providers need to be provided with the know-how and tools with which to build up and consolidate their technical and management capacities - and their ability raised to apply them to specific cases of SME development and/or restructuring.

The project support is a combination of:

• Developing and delivering needs assessed training
• Combining formal training with case studies and on-the-job mentoring
• Applying the acquired knowledge and skills in supervised, structured sessions with selected SMEs
• Assisting and encouraging service providers to diversify their range of services and potential client base
