Study of the Impact EC Mercosur Cooperation Actions on the Mercosur Regional Integration Process
The rationale for this project is to prepare and undertake a study to measure the impact of the contribution to regional integration in Latin America achieved through EC-MERCOSUR cooperation and by EC actions in the period from 2002 to 2012.
The project support is a combination of:
- The gathering, organising and analysis of comprehensive information on the relevance and quality of EU-Mercosur cooperation actions, which takes account of;
- The coherence of the cooperation of both the regional programmes for Latin America and the bilateral cooperation programmes with Argentina, Brazil, Paraguay and Uruguay
- Actions directed towards improving regional Cooperation derived from Mercosur Regional Strategy Papers (RSP) and the National Strategy Papers (CSP) of the four countries - 2002-2006 and 2007-2013.
- Making recommendations aimed at improving the scope and quality of future actions.
